PBPAC is excited to host forty (40) girls ages eight (8) to seventeen (17) years, from the Ezintle School of Dance (South Africa) with accommodations, transportation, uniforms and meals. The project dates are June 26th through July 16th. As a part of our desire to make this program successful, your support will make a huge difference in their lives.

The overarching program is a cultural exchange centered on social impact, diversity, and inclusion in classical Ballet. It will provide top-tier classical ballet training from renowned ballet professionals. Our mission aligns with the dance field initiatives to break down barriers, dispel myths, and create spaces for Black and Brown youth in classical ballet.

Your tax-deductible contribution will directly assist the South African students during their two-week, stay in the US. The cost per student is $2000, bringing the total for forty students to $80,000.

All donations are tax deductible

Brown Ballerinas First Steps is a story about Trinity’s first  experience in a ballet class. At the age of four, she learned the beginning steps it takes to create a Princess Ballerina. Trinity was nervous and excited as she entered into a space she once dreamed about.

Ballet barre’s, mirrors, dance floors, and little girls that look like her, help Trinity to feel safe and nurtured in a new studio environment. Once she got past, “I can’t do it,” her teacher, Ms. Paula, found her to be the best in the class!

Join Trinity and her new friends as they learn the beginning steps to becoming a Brown Ballerina.
