Job Description: 

PBPAC is seeking a summer intern to support enrolled students and PBPAC instructors during our 2-week summer intensive. The Summer Intensive Intern will work approximately 35 per week. The job duties of our Summer Intensive Intern include: 

  • helping with supervising student dancers

  • leading student dancers in warm-ups 

  • assisting dance instructors as needed

  • providing assistance during our lunch hour (this includes clean up)

  • entering Before- and After-Care attendance in our online system 


Who Should Apply: 

PBPAC’s Summer Intensive Internships are designed for highly motivated, independent, and mature graduate and undergraduate students and young professionals who seek to understand dance arts education. This is an entry-level position. Candidates should possess strong interpersonal and communication skills and be ready to work in a collaborative environment. A dance background is preferred. Teaching experience is not required; a willingness to learn is a must. If you’re patient, energetic, able to think on your feet, love kids, and have a passion for dance, we’d like to meet you.
