Ms. Butler

Mother of Paula Brown, office administrator, and Ms. Brown’s  biggest supporter, Ms. Butler is adored by all of the students, especially the Saturday Princess Level classes and PBPAC parents. She brings to the studio love, compassion, and guidance to the Brown Ballerinas.

Brandye Lee

Ralph Glenmore

Mr. Glenmore was a principal dancer with the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater under the direction of Alvin Ailey. He toured the world, working with choreographers Donald McKayle, Talley Beatty and Bill T. Jones among others. As Instructor, Rehearsal Director, Stage Manager and Choreographer, he worked with the Lula Washington Dance Theater, Debbie Allen Dance Academy, Robinson Project and Horton Summer Intensive - Daytona Community College and the Dance Institute of Washington. He also served as Dance Supervisor for Disney's The Lion King Los Angeles Company.

Brandye Lee is a cum laude alumna of Smith College (Economics & Afro-American Studies), and received her formal dance training as a scholarship student at Jones-Haywood School of Ballet, Dance Theatre of Harlem and The Ailey School.  A native Washingtonian, she was a featured dancer with Ailey II and Disney’s blockbuster “The Lion King” - National Gazelle Tour. While touring with The Lion King, Brandye served as the company’s outreach coordinator, creating unique behind-the-scenes experiences that included the show’s cast, crew and orchestra members. Brandye has been a guest performer in many of the 47 states she toured. Most recently, Brandye performed and served as Rehearsal Director for Memphis, Tennessee’s groundbreaking ballet company and conservatory, Collage Dance Collective. A certified yoga instructor, Brandye loves promoting healthy lifestyles through dance and yoga, and continues to find innovative ways to let her life speak, and serve her community.

Nikki Sutton-Mackey

Mrs. Sutton-Mackey is a 1992 graduate of Duke Ellington School of the Arts. She trained at the University of the Arts located in Philadelphia, PA and Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater. She professionally danced with Philadanco D/2 Apprentice Dance Company and Ailey II - Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater as well as The Walt Disney Company.
