Best Buy Citi Card Apply

If you're not having any luck with that number, you may try the main Best Buy Credit Card Number. This number is 1-888-574-1301. Keep in mind the credit card is ran by Citibank, so they should be able to connect you with the right team. I would also strongly encourage you to keep an eye on your credit card, if you didn't apply in store or online I would be concerned that someone has all of your details and is impersonating you. You may look at locking your credit to prevent new accounts from being open as well as enacting a monitoring service.

I also received the same letter. Without a doubt, this is 100% scam and the best one I have seen so far. The letter, envelope, content, references, etc. look very authentic. As mentioned, they are informing you that your recent Best Buy credit card application was denied. In my case is was due to "Insufficient number of accounts". I masked my cell number and called the 1-888-908-0031 number. It is an automated system that is ultimately trying to sucker you into providing your SSN. I do have identity theft protection service and I am not seeing any unaccounted for credit check requests.Amazingly or coincidently the timing of my post is exactly 1 year later from your post (10-22-2021). I am very surprised to see that Best Buy has not taken any counter measures against this scam.

A Best Buy credit card enables you to save money through discounts. The company offers a store credit card (which can only be used in Best Buy in-store or web purchases) and a Best Buy Visa card. You can apply for both cards online or in stores. Both Best Buy cards will earn you 5% back in rewards for all Best Buy purchases, but the Visa card will also get you 2% back in rewards on food and grocery purchases, as well as 1% back on other everyday purchases.[1]XResearch source
